I was on my normal walk home from work down Barrington Street when I and accosted a tourist with not one but two Hasselblad XPan cameras around his neck.
I say he’s a tourist but what do I know. All I do know is I would’ve seen someone walking around Halifax with an XPan before I’m sure of it. He looked a little surprised to have been stopped on the street by someone drooling over his cameras but come on, he had ten-thousand dollars worth of one of the best cameras ever made hanging around his neck. I think I impressed him by my knowledge that they were re-badged Fuji cameras for the European market.
Anyway he quickly answered my two questions before bidding me an au revoir and walking away. Now I’m wondering if I was harassing someone famous that I should know!
