The blue skies have returned and the city starts its cleanup after Hurricane Dorian.
I was was one of the very lucky ones to experience no damage, not even a flicker of electricity. My day yesterday was one of puttering around the apartment while the wind and rain lashed the province. There were near-record numbers of power outages along with many, many trees uprooted and split. The coming days will be filled with cleanup in the city but it could have been a lot worse. There have been no injuries or deaths reported and that’s the most important thing.
