There has been a lot of “Sidewalk Closed” signs around Halifax the last few years as the city and developers can never get together to plan these things. Forcing able-bodied people to walk in the street and the mobility-challenged to stay at home has been the norm. This is the first time I’ve seen a “Barricade” sign though. Seems a little aggressive.
The sidewalks on both sides of Brunswick St were closed this morning as the complete disdain for pedestrians by developers and the city continues.
