Having lived in the same apartment for 7 years, it was time to escape the noise and dust going on outside my window thanks to the new building going in next door. My view would have become one of the back concrete wall of the new building, and since it was already north-facing, the future light situation was looking pretty grim.
I’m now in an east facing apartment in the same building — I love the location and the building manager is top-notch — meaning I get beautiful morning sun and a little view of our famous harbour. Not too bad!
I just have to deal with unpacking a bit more and deal with the accumulated junk I should have dealt with years ago. It’ll feel good to purge and start fresh.
