You read it in books and see it in documentaries but you can’t quite get the scale of these places until you’ve stood next to one of these places and taken it all in.
The sheer scale and size of the terraces, buildings and temples on these sites is astonishing. Today I visited the ruins of Pisac and just stood in awe. The construction and its surroundings are simply incredible.
