We decided to take a stroll around Miraflores today to check out the beach and local sights. The beach itself is only a 20 minute walk from the hotel and is quite nice, almost Mediterranean.
We walked back up Av. Jose Larco to Parque 7 de Junio, or Miraflores Central Park, to get some photos of the cats that make the busy park home. I thought they were pretty cool but there is an ongoing controversy about them in the area. They sure make for an interesting story, I’ve never seen anything quite like it.
