This line of trees are in someone’s back yard, directly facing the ocean. I bet they’re over 50 years old, they remind me of the tiny little spruce trees at the top of mountains, well, the top of of the alpine meadows anyway. They grow really slow as the soil is so shallow, the winds are high and the nutrient level is poor. These ones looks like they’ve been shaped by human hands though, in some sort of full-size bonsai arrangement.
