Waiting, Porter lounge

Waiting, Porter lounge

On my way out of Toronto in March I got to wait in the brand new, open for less than a week Porter Airlines lounge in the newly renovated Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. It is very nice, with nice big seats, a computer lounge, wi-fi, and free coffee, tea and pop. For someone coming from the eastern end of the city, it is way more convenient than Pearson and has none of the headaches. I highly recommend flying Porter if you can.

So of course I had to take a snap while I was relaxing in the lounge. The colour palette of the lounge lends itself quite well to black and white. Great tones. This shot makes the lounge look like a serene spot, which at the time, it wasn’t. A Saturday afternoon gets less of the down-to-business commuter traffic and more of the screaming kids traffic. What would an airport be without screaming, out-of-control children? Heaven.
